About Kapco Valtec

Kapco Valtec is a supplier of parts and components for the aerospace industry. The company is the result of a 2003 merger between Kapco and Valtec. Prior to the merger, Kapco Global was an aerospace parts distributor, while Valtec operated as a manufacturer of rubber components. Following their partnership, Kapco Global served as an aerospace manufacturer and distributor of rubber components and accessories. At this time, Kapco supplies electrical interconnect, fluid management, heating devices, sealing, and other components for the aerospace industry. 

By 2017, Valtec had ended production and the Kapco Global Company operated solely as a distributor. It was at this time that Kapco Global merged with Avio-Diepen and changed the company’s name to Proponent. Under the Proponent name, the company is now a direct supplier of aerospace parts and components to manufacturers such as Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Honeywell, and other major companies. Proponent primarily supplies the OEM, MRO, and commercial airline markets.
