About Hitachi

Hitachi was first established in 1910 in the Ibaraki Prefecture of Japan, and their first product was an induction motor that could be utilized for copper mining. In 1918, Hitachi moved from Ibaraki to Tokyo, and they later became a publicly traded company in 1949. Ten years later, Hitachi expanded into the American market, establishing Hitachi America, Ltd.
